1. Introduction.
This Cookie Notice (“Notice”) describes how Machinify and its affiliates, including The Rawlings Company LLC, Rawlings Financial Services LLC, Apixio Holdings LLC, and Varis, LLC (collectively, “Machinify,” “our” or “we”) operate websites at www.machinify.com, www.rawlingsgroup.com, www.trgclaimsinfo.com, www.rawlingspayments.com, and all other Machinify owned or operated websites (collectively, “Site”) and along with our service providers, may use cookies and similar technologies such as web beacons, pixels, tags (collectively, “cookies”) on our Site to collect information about your interactions with our Site. These cookies help us better understand visitor behavior, including for security purposes, to determine which parts of our Sites people have visited, and to facilitate and measure the effectiveness of advertisements and web searches. When we refer to “you” in this Notice, we mean any individual who visits our Site or otherwise interacts with Machinify.
2. What are cookies, and why do you use them?
Cookies are small text files that a web server places on your computer’s hard drive or mobile device when you visit a website. This small text file may include a unique identifier that distinguishes your computer or mobile device from other devices. Cookies serve several purposes, including enabling you to navigate between webpages efficiently, remembering your preferences, providing analytics, and enhancing the overall user experience. Cookies managed by Machinify only are called “first-party cookies,” whereas cookies from third parties are called “third-party cookies.”
Cookies can facilitate various actions, such as remembering your preferences, enabling you to navigate between pages efficiently, personalizing online content, delivering targeted marketing campaigns, measuring marketing performance, analyzing use of our Sites and online content, and enhancing your overall experience. Cookies may generally be disabled or removed using tools available in most commercial browsers, and in some instances blocked in the future by selecting certain settings. The choices available, and the mechanism used, will vary from browser to browser. Some web browsers (including some mobile browsers) provide settings that let you control or reject cookies, or alert you when a cookie is placed on your computer or device. You may also be able to reject mobile device identifiers by adjusting the appropriate settings on your mobile device. Such browser settings are typically found in the “options,” “tools,” or “preferences” menu of your browser. You may also consult with your browser’s help menu. Tools from commercial browsers may not be effective on Flash cookies (locally shared objects), HTML5 cookies, or other tracking technologies. If you disable or remove these technologies, some parts of our Site may not work and when you revisit our Site your ability to limit browser-based tracking technologies is subject to your browser settings and limitations. Although you are generally not required to accept cookies or mobile device identifiers, if you block or reject them, you may not have access to all features available through the Services. If you change computers, devices, or browsers; use multiple computers, devices, or browsers; or delete your cookies, you may need to repeat this process for each computer, device, or browser.
Where required under applicable law, we will provide you with means to reject, at any time, the non-essential cookies used on our Sites or within our Services through a consent management platform made available to you when you first visit our Sites or use our Services and always available through the Cookie Preferences link in the Site footer.
3. How long do cookies last?
Cookies can remain on your computer or mobile device for various periods of time. Some cookies are session cookies, which only exist while your browser is open and are deleted automatically once you close your browser. Persistent cookies survive after your browser is closed until a defined expiration date.
4. Your Choices.
You can control how we use non-essential cookies served to an individual browser through our Site by using the Cookie Preferences link in the footer of our Site and selecting which category of cookies you want to disable. If you are located in a jurisdiction that provides cookie choice rights, you can use the Your Privacy Choices link in the footer of our Site to disable third-party cookies.
The settings must be performed on each device (including each web browser) that you want to opt out of. If you clear your cookies or use a different browser or device, you will need to repeat the opt-out steps.
- Many web browsers accept cookies by default. If you prefer, you can change your browser’s settings to reject non-essential cookies. If you choose to reject certain cookies, some features of the Site may not work properly. Since your cookie opt-out preferences are stored in a cookie in your browser, if you delete all cookies, use a different browser, use a different computer or device, you will need to renew your opt-out choices. Browser manufacturers provide help pages related to cookie management in their products. The following links contain instructions for commonly used browsers:
